Watercolor Study of the Station Village Shops

On the way home from an appointment I decided to pull into the train station that is across the road from our subdivision. I told myself that if there was a spot open in the first row, I would sit and sketch the buildings. It was too cold for me to sit outside, so I sat in the car and quickly sketched this out. I don’t usually do architectural type drawings or sketches but this one didn’t turn out too bad. The left side is a little off but I had a big tree in front of my car blocking my view so I made do. My main goal was to get used to doing watercolor on location. Mission accomplished.
